Pool Rules

We want to make sure that you have a great time enjoying our pool, safety is our top priority. Please read through our rules before you make a booking. If you have any questions, please contact us using the details below. 

Pool Rules and Conditions of Hire

  • Guests use the facilities entirely at their own risk.  Management is not responsible for any injuries that may occur.  Any injuries need to be reported to Langley Grange Indoor Pool Management immediately

  • The owners of Langley Grange swimming pools will not be held liable for any injury, illness, accident or loss/damage to the property, however caused, directly or indirectly, in or out of the pool

  • Management reserve the right to cancel a session without notice, a full refund will be given

  • Swimmers should be of good health to use the facility.  It is their responsibility to cancel their slot should they be unwell and unable to attend

  • The pool accommodates a maximum of 6 swimmers per booking.

  • If guests fail to attend their booked slot without 24 hours prior notice, no refund will be given

  • All damages and breakages must be reported to management immediately and will be chargeable

  • At least one member of the group should have a mobile phone in case of needing to contact emergency services, as the owners may not always be available

  • No jumping or diving is permitted (max depth of the pool is 1.56m)

  • No running inside the pool area as the tiles may be slippery

  • At least one member of the group must be over 25 and a competent swimmer

  • Solo swimmers are permitted, however they do so at their own risk, keeping in mind the risk of no one else being around if something happens, e.g. slipping or becoming unwell while swimming

  • The facility may not be used while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs

  • We operate a strict group in/group out policy, so please wait outside until your allocated time slot has started

  • Sessions start and finish within your timeslot which includes changing time and showering.  Sessions are booked on the hour therefore swimmers are requested to leave when their time is up.

  • Consideration should be taken for others.  Swimmers are kindly requested to leave the pool area as they wish to find it (a mop is provided to dry up excess water in the toilet and changing room).  If Langley Indoor Pool is left in a mess, management reserve the right to charge an additional fee for cleaning

  • Shoes are not permitted in the pool area.  Swimmers are requested to remove shoes on arrival.

  • Young children using nappies must wear good quality swim nappies.  Used nappies are to be taken home

  • Swimmers are requested to have a quick shower before entering the pool as body lotions, perfumes etc. affect the water quality

  • Swimmers with long hair should please tie their hair back or wear a swim cap

  • Plasters should be removed before entering the water, there is a bin in the bathroom

  • Swimmers with verruca’s should wear suitable verruca socks at all times

  • No hard balls permitted, but foam pool noodles, inflatables and soft balls are welcome

  • No food or drink is permitted in the facility, apart from plastic water bottles.  No glass is allowed

  • Langley Grange Indoor Pool is a strictly no smoking area (this includes the indoor & outdoor areas)

  • Should guests not comply with these rules and conditions, no future bookings will be accepted
